Listen to my rant: And then Sponsor My Site!

I know: So this blog isn’t genuine! You are trying to make money off your blog, just like the rest of the blokes on the web!

I only got one complaint so far, and it wasn’t really a complaint, but more of a question about the blog’s integrity if someone sponsors it.

My whole reason for blogging is because its fun. I can get my ideas out there. And most of my work is in the “If a tree falls in the forest” scenario. But a few do come across my site, and I do get pleasure from the few emails and comments I get from my work. But…

A lot of my work is painstakingly long. Sometimes, it takes me twelve hours to make one analytical article. i don’t mind it, but there is a fine line from which a fun hobby becomes either A) A dangerous use of time that could be used to buy sandwiches so I wouldn’t be so poor and skinny, B) A lost hobby that I drop in favor of another job, where I will rant to my hipster-no-knowledge-of-sports co-workers about how Miguel Cabrera will hit less than 30 Homeruns in “hitter-friendly” Detroit Stadium ( I don’t know the name, and I am too into my rant to Wiki it now, ok?).

My answer to my analytical work of sports and culture is C) to find a medium that some of my work can pay off, and at the same time have a real life and a not-so-demanding job. I am a freelancers on multiple levels, most of my money comes from doing six different jobs every week, and hustling for every dollar I can get. I am not money-hungry, but more or less my I have aspirations that require ( sadly ) working or developing for no money ( I am creating a non-profit, and advising for another one currently, for about 0.02 an hour. Moving on up!).

Anyway, I feel if someone likes my work and my site, they can donate money to me or sponsor my pages. If you don’t like, then pay my student loan, and get out of my face.

If you do want to sponsor a site ( or donate money to me ), you can donate money to info@sustainablefocus.org through paypal. Or you can speak to me about sponsoring a post, page, category, or anything to get exposure to whatever you want. My criteria is usually that I have to like it; it can’t just be any random BS that I wouldn’t want to put on my site in the first place.
