In a forum post on January 29th, 2012, One poster had him as sleeper since his draft position is low (late-200’s) and his statistics are pretty good:
“287- Chris Sale. Really, 287? I get that Sale will be monitored with his innings this year, but he has a chance to be a dominant starter in this league. Dyno owners should be excited with the switch to the rotation, and redraft owners can likely pencil him in for 150-160 IP with a bit more than a K an inning, with outstanding ratios. BUY!”
Also, Sale dominated in his recent performance against the Reds, striking out 6 in 6 innings and only allowing 2 hits.

After his rough starts this Spring, one journalist of the Chicago Sun-Times had this to say of Sale’s future:
“I stick to the fact that a member of the [White Sox] organization told me Sale would be back in the bullpen by May.”
This article does mention he has the stuff to be a number one for Chicago.
Analysis on Sale
Here is an analysis on Chris Sale coming out of college. Says he’s a great lefty with a lot of deception, good fastball, great movement, ability to induce groundballs and ability to raise up on the gun to 95-96 if need to.
